Room rates for the 2010 Southern Decadence event were announced on the Candy Samples Podcast www.samplemycandy.com available on iTunes on Tuesday, October 27.
The Labor Day Weekend festivities take place September 3, 4 and 5. The discounted hotel rates will be available the week before and the week after this weekend if you want to stay a few extra days.

Petite Queen Room, $136.00 for 1 or 2 people / night
This room is approximately 9 x 12 feet with a smaller bathroom than regular rooms. This room type is ideal for someone who is going on their own, and therefore has a reduced rate.
Superior King Room, $169.00 for 1 or 2 people / night
Offers 150 – 200 square feet of living space and offers one King bed with view of the French Quarter.
Deluxe Queen Room, $146.00 for 1 or 2 people / night
120 – 150 square feet, features one queen bed. Each room is beautifully appointed with French and Creole accents.
Two Twin Bed Room, $146.00 for 1 or 2 people / night
Deluxe Rooms: 120 – 150 square feet, features two twin beds. Each room is beautifully appointed with French and Creole accents. Double rooms have views of St. Louis or Royal Street.
Two Double Bed Room, $169.00 for 1 or 2 people / night
120 – 150 square feet, features two double beds. Each room is beautifully appointed with French and Creole accents. Double rooms have views of St. Louis or Royal Street. Add $30.00 per person, per night for third or fourth person in room.
Superior King with Balcony, $253.00 for 1 or 2 people/ night
150 – 200 square feet feature one king bed and a balcony overlooking St. Louis or Royal Street and are located on the 2nd or 4th floors.
PETITE SUITE, $296.00 for 1 or 2 people / night - call Troy to reserve this room type
This oversized specialty room is appointed with a king bed, two overstuffed chairs, cocktail table and sofa completing the living area. This suite is the perfect accommodation for three occupants, as the sofa can be made into a second bed as well. Deluxe amenities included, such as a hair dryer, make up mirror, oversized towels, iron and ironing board, robes, lap-top sized safe, umbrella, private mini-bar, deluxe bath amenities and a 25-inch screen television with in-room movies. (Four of the five are on the 7th floor).

This one-room specialty suite is designed for luxury and comfort - perfect for a romantic occasion! It features a king size four-poster bed at one end of the room and a living room area at the opposite end with a platformed marble Jacuzzi hot tub, perfect for two. SPECIAL NOTE: All room rates quoted are for 1 or 2 people per room (even those with two double beds). There will be an additional person charge of $30.00 per night / per person for third and fourth person in the room. Rollaway beds are available in rooms, and those are an additional $30 per night, in addition to the per night charge for the extra person. NOTE: If you do not register all guests in your room properly, they will not receive gift bags or wrist bands to the parties.
Taxes & Additional Charges: all rooms are taxed at a rate of 13% and carry a $2.00 per night occupancy charge.
